Who We Are
FD on Call, serving SMEs to large corporate enterprises primarily in the Western Cape, places a highly qualified CA in your business – I.E. your own Financial Director on Call. We analyse and accordingly structure your business and its finances to expedite growth and create prosperity.
FD on Call was founded by highly successful FD, Wouter van Schaik, to offer an alternative way for SMEs to have qualified, experienced advice without the stress and financial burden of a full-time, highly paid CA. With us you pay for this professional expertise only as and when you need it.
SME’s rely heavily on Auditors for sound advice and business strategies, but this tends to be sporadic and sometimes too late. With FD on Call you have a CA in your business as often as you like, assisting you to speed up decision making and taking action!

From Our Founder
Wouter van Schaik
FD on Call is the brainchild of founder Wouter van Schaik, a Chartered Accountant (SA) with vast experience as a corporate Financial Director and Chief Financial Officer in various industries.
Wouter cut his teeth doing articles for a small auditing firm, making him do more and be more flexible. This versatility gives him the advantage of assisting your business, regardless of what it is, with hands on experience and up to date advice.
Manager Accounting and Compliance
André Johannes Burger is registered with SAIPA as a Professional Accountant (S.A.), and is a registered Tax Practitioner with SAIT.
He completed his B.Tech Cost and Management Accounting Degree and completed his articles at an audit firm in 2015 and achieved his professional qualification in 2016. He has experience with a wide variety of accounting software packages, as well as a variety of clients from all walks of life.
Due to his variety of clients that he has worked with over the years, it puts him in a very good position to advise clients on financial management issues.

As the Financial Director of a group of companies, Wouter grew this enterprise from 3 companies turning over R200 million a year to 14 companies with turnover of over R1 billion. This was a variety of companies, from insurance to Auto, to property and construction etc. giving him the perfect grounding to handle the myriad of companies that FD on Call now serve.
These currently include one of the top 5 Civil Construction companies in the Western Cape; Labour and HR Consultants; IT Companies; Trading trusts and subsidiaries; Property investment companies; Interior designers; Wine Farms; brewers and distillers etc.
